To remove or replace fuel pump retaining rings: Loosen lock nut on tool and adjust the length of tool so slot in the ears fits over teeth in the plastic ring.

Tighten adjusting lock nut to fit securely onto the fuel cap and loosen or tighten the plastic ring to remove or replace the fuel tank sender. Made from Alloy Steel.
