Usage & Installation Notes

• Do Not Lubricate: When installing Teflon (PTFE) seals, ensure the seal lips and contact surfaces remain completely dry—do not lubricate Teflon seal lips.

• Pre-Assembled Design: Oversize inside diameter lip seals and wear rings are shipped pre-assembled; do not separate them prior to assembly.

• Orientation: Install seals with the yellow lip facing outward towards the transmission.

• Operation: Secure the installation tool plate to the crankshaft using the 3 guide pins, assemble the press cup and driver hex, and torque the hex nut down until the positive stop is reached, then verify final depth.
